Purpose of the App
HopAlert is an assistive tool that provides location-based alerts to help you stay aware of upcoming stops or transitions during travel. The app is intended to support, not replace, your own judgment and awareness.
Best-Effort Service
HopAlert provides alerts on a best-effort basis. Alerts may be affected by factors outside the app’s control, including but not limited to:
- device hardware
- operating system behavior
- location accuracy
- battery or power-saving modes
- notification settings
- environmental conditions
HopAlert does not guarantee that alerts will always trigger or be delivered on time.
User Responsibility
You remain fully responsible for:
- planning your journeys
- paying attention to your surroundings
- making travel decisions
HopAlert should not be relied upon as a safety-critical or navigation system.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HopAlert and its developer are not liable for:
- missed stops or transfers
- delays or inconvenience
- losses or damages resulting from reliance on the app
Subscriptions
HopAlert may offer optional subscriptions:
- Subscriptions are managed by Apple
- Payment and renewal are handled through your Apple ID
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings
Pricing and available features may change over time.
Changes to the App
HopAlert may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time. Features may change or be removed.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
